The new Distant series

‘Distant’ is a new series based on the philosophy of renowned Dutch DJ Mees Salomé. His Distant sets were initially created because he wanted to enable listeners to really emotionally connect with music through long sets with an amazing build-up. When making music, he tends to really get into “the zone” - similar to his audience. When I connected with Mees, we knew at our first encounter that how we produce our art and how we feel about sharing it with the world, is very similar. We want everybody to be able to experience music, paintings, or any art form for that matter, simply by being exposed to it - without telling you how to interpret it. This is why I painted this series, and I invite you to simply take it in, and hopefully, it evokes an emotion that moves you. All pieces are now available in my shop!
